Dr. Renata Lago graduated in medicine at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), did a medical residency in pediatrics at the São Rafael hospital in Salvador and specializes in pediatric endocrinology at the Children’s Institute (ICr – HC – USP). Upon returning to Salvador after specializing in SP, she joined the genetics service at the university hospital professor Edgar Santos (UFBA) where he joined the multidisciplinary team dedicated to caring for people with sexual development disorders and then founded the Reference Center for Osteogenesis Imperfecta ( CROI) and created an outpatient clinic dedicated to the care and study of osteometabolic diseases. She also acts as a preceptor of medical resistance in endocrinology at the State Reference Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology (Cedeba) of the Health Secretariat of the State of Bahia and is a professor at the Federal University. of the Bahia Reconcavo (UFRB).
